oz cooked brown rice
12 oz minced pork or
pork sausagemeat
Handful of finely chopped parsley
2 oz toasted flaked almonds
Juice of one lemon
1 tsp dried mixed herbs (try herbs de provance)
Salt and pepper
- Place all the stuffing ingredients in a
bowl and mix well.
- In a 9 lb turkey you would use about a
third of the mixture to stuff the neck cavity
and roll the remainder into balls.
- Place the stuffing balls in an ovenproof
dish and chill until you are ready to cook.
- Near the end of the turkey's cooking time,
you can pop the stuffing balls into the oven
and bake for about 25 minutes until they
are golden.
